First day of school was a success. I didn’t cry… almost but I held it in. You know what is the worst though!? When you are trying to stay strong and someone asks you how you are doing…. yea that is like an invitation to open the flood gates right!? However I knew that if Haylee saw me crying that would be no good. I think she was a bit scared at the last minute. She has never gone some where without us where she didn’t know who the people were or had friends there. She kept looking back while walking into the school and giving us an ‘this is okay right?’ look :)   Hayden didn’t handle leaving his sister there well though. He didn’t want to leave her and he kept asking if we were going to go get her yet. Today I brought him with me to pick her up *yesterday he was napping*.

I will be honest though. This whole dropping off and picking up from school really messes up your schedule huh! I know get used to it Kelsey but seriously this is going to take a bit of adjusting. Hayden starts preschool twice a week next week and he has to be there at 830am… what was I thinking? :)

Happy Monday!

We are one step closer to Haylee starting school. ::sigh:: Today we had the ribbon cutting ceremony for her school (it is brand new).  Haylee got to cut the ribbon to enter into her new classroom. She sat down at the desks and I really thought I was going to have to reach for tissue. Lucky my 2 crazy boys were there to keep my straight. Hudson trying to ‘break in’ the new room and Hayden wanting to go sit with Haylee. Her teacher seems nice and the school as fantastic! There was little balloon cut outs outside the classroom where all the parents wrote notes to their kids for them to see on the first day of school. So yes one step closer. Monday is the big day.

Of course I had to snap a few pictures of Haylee before we left the house. I had planned on taking some pictures of her inside the classroom but like I mentioned my boys kept me preoccupied lol

This was her idea! She wanted me to take a picture of the heart lol

What do you do with 3 kids 5 and under when it is 100+ outside? Strip them down to their underwear or diaper in Hudson’s case. Give them a popsicle and sit in the shade:) However it melts fast and we ended up having popsicle in places… well you’ll see….
